Making pyrohy has always been an important activity initiated in 1951 by the parishioners of St. George’s during the ministry of Rev. Eustace Weselowsky to support church projects.
Today a good number of men and women gather together week after week to prepare our delicious pyrohy for sale to the many customers that enjoy them. We make our pyrohy the “Old World” way with quality products and care.

Our prices are only $7.00 per dozen. We still try to keep the lowest prices in the Pittsburgh area.
You can place your order by calling our church hall at 412-766-8800 on Wednesday morning or Thursday. Ask for our pyrohy coordinator Bill Onyshko or Judy Anselm. . Our pyrohy sales are on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and on Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. We are closed for our summer vacation during the month of July. Our busiest time of the year is the Philip’s Fast (Advent) and the Great Fast (Lent). During that time please place your orders two weeks in advance.
