WELCOME
IN
THE NAME OF THE FATHER, THE SON AND THE HOLY SPIRIT!
As a parish family we
welcome you to our parish website. We
hope you find it useful and edifying in your
lives. As a Church, we are striving
for personal sanctification, to make real
the image and likeness of God in our own
lives; we seek to make God’s Kingdom real in
our parish community. We are always happy to
have guests, not only on our website, but in
person as well. You are more than welcome to
visit our Holy Church at any time. For
a schedule of our Divine Services please go
to our Parish/Liturgical Schedule section.
We invite you to the many events in our
parish that take place throughout the year.
The Parish/Bulletins section will provide
you with all the newest information on what
is happening in our parish family. In John
1: 46, the apostle Philip invited Nathanael
to “Come and see” Jesus. Today we invite you
to Come,
See and Experience
the life of the
Church with us!
With love in Christ,
Fr. Valerian

"As the deliver of captives and the defender of the poor, healer of the infirm
and champion of kings, victorious great martyr George intercede with Christ our
God for our souls salvation."
Troparion of
St. George
Saint George - The
Saint who killed the Dragon (ca. 275-281–April 23, 303) This
glorious and victorious saint was born in Cappadocia the son of
wealthy and virtuous parents. His father suffered for Christ and
his mother then moved to Palestine. When George grew up, he
entered the military, where in his twentieth year, attained the
rank of a Tribune and as such was in the service of the Emperor Diocletian. When Diocletian began the terrible persecution
against Christians, George came before him and courageously
confessed that he is a Christian.
