Making pierogie has always been an important activity initiated in 1962 by the parishioners of St. George’s during the ministry of Rev. Wasyl Dzydzora to support church projects.

Today our dedicated church volunteers and other members of the community gather to prepare our delicious pierogie for sale to the many customers that enjoy them. We make our pierogie the “Old World” way with quality products and care.

farmer's cheese

Our prices are only $10.00 per dozen for all varieties. We still try to keep the lowest prices in the Pittsburgh area.

You can place your order by calling our church hall at 412-766-8800.  If no one is there to take your call, please leave a message and you will receive a return confirmation call.   Our normal pierogie sale days are Thursdays and Fridays from 9:00 am to 3 pm.  Our hours change for the summer. 

Our busiest time of the year is the Philip’s Fast (Advent) and the Great Fast (Lent). During that time, orders are required in advance.
